All Saints Church in Tudeley, established in the 12th century, is structurally quite ordinary. The church's true glory, however, is its stained glass. All twelve were designed by the celebrated artist Chagall. The project began in 1963 with a memorial window in memory of a local couple's child. Chagall was so impressed by the site that he offered to design the other windows, a work finished in 1985. The windows showcase a magnificent spectrum of blue hues.
