Finally viewers can begin: opening five minutes of the fifth season of Stranger Things shared.
The final series of the platform's otherworldly phenomenon the hit series is set to be one of the biggest releases of 2024. The first part premieres on November 27, however a clip of the chilling opening five minutes has been released on the internet.
The Crawl: A Flashback to 1983
The episode, titled The Crawl, takes fans back to the beginning of the show in the early '80s, in the wake of the loss of the boy.
"What should I do—stay or go?" Will sings while attempting to keep calm in the Upside Down.
The situation rapidly turns frightening as a fearsome beast appears and yanks the character to the domain of the antagonist. "After all this time, it's time to commence," he informs Will while propelling a plant-like appendage down his throat. "The two of us, we will accomplish truly magnificent deeds as one."
Release Schedule and Theater Showings
The second part of the last season will be broadcast on December 26, with the series finale available on New Year's Day – and will also have screened in select movie theaters.
Plot Summary
The description reads: "The autumn of the late '80s. The setting is damaged by the creation of the Rifts, and the protagonists join forces by a single goal: locate and eliminate the enemy. But he has disappeared – his location and intentions unknown. Complicating the task, the government has put Hawkins under military quarantine and increased the search for the character, pushing her back into hiding. As the commemoration of Will's disappearance looms, arrives a profound, familiar dread. Behind the Scenes
The unexpected preview was uploaded to YouTube subsequent to the series' LA debut on Thursday, which was attended by cast members including one of the main stars and her co-star.
"The size of it is bigger … There is more excitement and more special effects, yet it is additionally by far the most poignant part because it's the end of the narrative for the entire cast," the show's head writer, noted regarding the final episodes.
