Administration Denounces 'Democrat Fabrication' as Further Epstein Estate Photos Disclosed
Democratic lawmakers have released a additional set of what they termed "troubling" images from the estate of convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein, depicting notably Donald Trump, Bill Clinton, and former British royal Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor.
The initial drop of 19 images—some of which have been seen before—plus another 70 released later on Friday represent a small number of the approximately 100,000 images handed over to the House oversight committee, which is examining the conduct and connections of Epstein.
The fallen money manager was a victim of apparent suicide in a New York prison cell in 2019 after being accused of sex-trafficking crimes.
High-Profile Individuals in the Photos
Among the high-profile individuals seen in the initial batch are celebrities including film director Woody Allen; Microsoft co-founder Bill Gates; and Richard Branson, originator of the Virgin business group.
Donald Trump is pictured in three of the initial 19 images. In one, he is pictured with six women, whose faces are blacked out.
Administration Statement
The White House reacted to the release in a statement, alleging Democrats of selectively "choosing" the images for political purposes and to "seek to establish a false storyline."
"The Democrat hoax against President Trump has been consistently disproven," a presidential representative said, insisting that "the Trump administration has achieved more for Epstein's victims than Democrats have ever done by repeatedly calling for disclosure, releasing reams of documents, and urging more inquiries into Epstein's Democratic associates."
Panel Member Remarks
The images were released lacking captions, but per a California Democrat and senior member of the oversight committee, they prompt further inquiries about Epstein's associations with affluent people.
"The moment has come to end this White House cover-up and deliver justice to the victims of Jeffrey Epstein and his well-connected allies," he stated in a comment.
The publication of these documents coincides with the House panel continuing its inquiry into the Epstein matter.
